Academics

Mr. Chris Schaub watches as seniors Michael Popp and Bradford Schaub perform an experiment during his physics class.
St. Mary School has a sound academic program that is very strong in the basics. The college preparatory courses taught in the high school have resulted in at least 92% of the graduates continuing on to higher education each year. We are accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools (MANS), the College Board, and we are one of only four Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Gaylord. St. Mary School participates in the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District (TBA-ISD) vocational training programs which allow students to receive experience in a variety of fields.
